Gene and Elaine Williams, a married couple with a history in college sports, founded Athletes Untapped to simplify how families connect with private coaches. After enjoying their own experiences as private coaches, they realized there was no easy way for coaches to expand their business reach. This inspired them to create AU, a platform designed to connect young athletes with high-quality coaching while helping coaches grow. With a mission to improve the trajectory of young athletes, Gene and Elaine blend their expertise in sports and technology to make impactful coaching widely accessible.
Private football coaching is essential for teaching young athletes how to play the right way. While physical fitness is important, technique and mental toughness are what set great players apart. That’s why Athletes Untapped coaches focus on cultivating toughness by challenging players during lessons with game-like drills, teaching them to push through adversity. Our platform hosts a wide range of position-specific trainers like quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs, linemen, and special teams. Depending on the coach, they can target skill development for passing, tackling, and footwork - preparing athletes to excel on and off the field.
